Yes, it was ABOUT TIME I got a new album out, hence the title. But there’s more to it than that: some of the songs on this album deal with the subject ’time’, which I will leave for you to discover…..
Within this solo project I account for the music and lyrics, the instruments and vocals performed, the programming, the recording and production as well as the artwork.
However…..
unlike my previous album I did not do all of the hard work myself here, but I invited some very talented people to take part in this adventure: Hans Kuypers, for the vocals on The Curse and Rosalie Vrijhof, for the flute parts on Jumping The Milestone. You hear Greta Thunberg (with excerpts* from her speech at the UN Climate Change COP 25) on Before It Is Too Late.
The mastering of the tracks was in the skillfull hands of Henk Stel.
